Le Premier ministre Benjamin Netanyahu félicite le chef du Parti travailliste Kier Starmer pour sa nomination au poste de Premier ministre du Royaume-Uni.
« Je suis convaincu que nous continuerons à travailler ensemble pour renforcer l'amitié historique entre le Royaume-Uni et Israël et pour faire progresser le double objectif de sécurité et de paix », a tweeté Netanyahu, huit heures après que le président Isaac Herzog a publié son propre message de félicitations.
« J’exprime également ma gratitude à (l’ancien Premier ministre britannique) Rishi Sunak pour son amitié et son soutien au fil des années », ajoute Netanyahu.
